Temuun Stadtmann · Looking for a part-time position

The day runs smoothly
because someone planned it.

Three questions, twenty seconds

Is she right for your position?

One day, read across

The same skills — once at home, once in the theatre schedule.

05.50 At home

Organisation

Four people, one bathroom, forty minutes.

07.20 Handover

Reliability

Who's on pick-up? A deal is a deal.

08.30 Scheduling

Overview

Eleven sites, one theatre schedule, no double bookings.

11.05 Something jams

Composure

Someone drops out at eleven. By twenty past, the new plan is up.

16.40 Keeping at it

Stamina

What gets started gets finished. Even when it drags.

18.15 End of day

And keen for a team

I can do all of this. I'd like to do it with grown-ups again.

Six times the same head

Organising, keeping the overview, staying calm, keeping at it — at home and in the theatre schedule it is the same work. The only difference is who pays for it.

What do you need someone for?

Scheduling, administration or nursing

01

Scheduling and planning

Planning theatre days across several sites, drawing up patient lists for the different types of procedure, calling patients in by telephone, sharing responsibility for staff planning in the operating theatre.

Three years of exactly that: operating-theatre scheduling for an eye-clinic group with eleven sites. Daily programmes, patient call-ins, rescheduling at short notice when someone drops out, reporting to the clinic management.

Polypoint RAP · Eye-Soft · NEXUS KIS

Documented in the employment reference from Gutblick AG, 2022 – 2025.

02

Administration and billing

Coordinating consultation clinics, compiling surgical documents on time, correspondence and reports from dictation, service recording and billing under Tarmed.

Trained for it: diploma as a medical and hospital secretary, Benedict-Schule Zürich, 2023 — completed part-time alongside a full-time job.

KISIM · NEXUS KIS · Tarmed · MS Office

Documented by the 2023 diploma and the employment reference from Gutblick AG.

03

Medically trained

Acute care, oncology and long-term care, most recently three years as night shift lead with overall responsibility. Medical-technical procedures, blood draws, ECG.

Eleven years at the bedside, with patients: apprenticeship and employment at UniversitätsSpital Zürich, the anaesthesia consultation clinic at Luzerner Kantonsspital, long-term care, then three years as night shift lead with overall responsibility.

WiCare · IBI-care · blood draws · ECG

Documented by the FaGe EFZ certificate of proficiency and five employment references.

The gap in my CV

What these two years have trained

Two years without a job.
Not two years without work.

I'm not writing this to talk a gap up. I'm writing it because the skills you train in that time are pretty much exactly the ones a scheduling desk and a medical office ask for.

Planning without a planning system
Organisational talent

Two children, a household, doctor appointments, childcare hours, supplies, sick days. None of it plans itself, and there is no software to remind you. Anyone who manages that reliably for two years does not lose the overview when three surgical sites have to be rescheduled at the same time.

Several things at once, all of them important
Multitasking

A phone call, lunch and a child falling over — all in the same minute. Setting priorities under constant interruption is not a claim on a CV, it is two years of daily practice.

Patience that doesn't run out
Patience

Answering the same question for the twelfth time, kindly, without the other person noticing. That helps at reception, on the phone and especially with patients who are afraid of an operation.

Negotiating with an unreasonable counterpart
Conflict management

A small child does not argue rationally and still will not give in. Anyone who gets to a solution there without pulling rank also stays calm on a demanding phone call and finds a way.

Grit it out and see it through
Stamina

There is no end of the working day and nobody to take over. Finishing what you started, especially when it drags — that is the habit these two years leave behind.

And honestly: keen for grown-ups
Team

I am looking forward to a team, to conversations about something other than snack time, and to being part of something bigger than my own household again. That is not a stock phrase, it is the real motivation behind my application.

What these cards do not say: eleven years of professional experience, six employment references and two diplomas. The family years come on top — they replace nothing.
